Pericom IDF13 EventsThe move is not the only exciting news we have. We are always working on developing new and innovative products for each market segment, and where better to introduce them than this year Intel Developers Forum.

This year’s theme is “Mobility”. Pericom will be hosting a booth (#613) at this year’s IDF SF, September 10-11th, 2013 at the Moscone Center in San Francisco. We will spotlight a variety of new products including:

PCIe 2.0 ReDrivers
USB 3.0 Signal Switches
DisplayPort Signal Switches

These provide designers with low power solutions and small package. Also featured are our new PCIe Embedded Clocks, ideal for embedded and Cloud applications, providing high performance and reliability. Please stop by to see us and chat about our latest products.
We look forward to seeing you.

Load Switch – Extend Battery Life, Outperform Competition

http://www.pericom.com

Battery consumption, continous slew rate, and device protection are three major concerns for all mobile device designers.
Pericom Advantages
  • Extend battery life for mobile applications by smoothly power sequencing different blocks within
    the system.
  • Power consumption is lower compared to the competition to extend the battery life.
  • Our slew rate is continuous in comparison to the competition to protect battery from current spikes.
  • Integrates the over current protection (OCP) block, which protects the device from an accidental short at the external connection.

Application - Power Sequencing block diagram
  • Pericom solution enables power sequencing to turn on / off different system blocks to reduce power consumption.

Key Features
  • Ultra-low RON load switch with controlled turn on
  • Power Switches integrated OCP
  • Protect battery from current spikes with continuous slew rate
  • Active Low/High Enable
    • Active Low with integrated logic inverter (PI3PD22919/25C)
